Giving Back: A New Roof for The North Kingstown Food Pantry

The summer Rhode Island rain was too much for the old roof on the North Kingstown Food Pantry.  The leaks were numerous and beyond repair. It was time for a roof replacement, and a NKFP board member/Midland Roofing customer asked us to submit a proposal for their project.

Having lived in North Kingstown ourselves, we knew how important the NK Food Pantry is to the community. When Dennis took a look at the project, he knew this was an opportunity for us to give back to a community that has been so welcoming to our family business for nearly 50 years. He presented a proposal for the whole project to be completed as a donation without any cost to the NKFP. We just knew it was the right thing to do. We had the resources to make this happen, so they could use their resources to continue to help families in our community.

Our company is proud to have other community-minded partners like GAF, Mumford Services, ABC Supply Company and Coast-to-Coast Promotional Products that generously joined us in supporting this project in our town.
